Getting started

Quickstart

Take your first test payment in about ten minutes.

  1. Create a free account at https://maainvest.co.ke and sign in.
  2. Open Merchant Gateway → Developer sandbox → Create test credentials. You get a test Merchant ID and secret instantly.
  3. Make your server post a signed form to /pay/start.php with the test Merchant ID. You land on a TEST MODE checkout.
  4. Pick a test number (for example 0708 000 001 for success). Within a few seconds the checkout shows a test receipt and your notify_url receives the webhook.
  5. Try the failure numbers too, and use Resend webhook on the Merchant Gateway page while you debug your handler.
  6. When everything works, follow the go-live checklist.
